I write about women who are underestimated...
The ones people think they’ve got figured out.
The ones quietly holding everything together.
The ones who might just surprise everyone.
What I write
My stories sit somewhere between humour and chaos, with a bit of mystery thrown in.
They’re about family, misjudgement, reinvention, and the things people don’t say out loud.
My work isn't just about the 'what'; it's about the internal landscape of a woman deciding who she wants to be when the world expects her to be something else entirely.
Why I write
I’m interested in the gap between how someone looks on the outside… and what’s actually going on underneath.
Especially when it comes to women who’ve been written off as “boring, “quiet”, or “just getting on with it.”
Storytelling is my way of archiving the unspoken experiences of women. If one reader feels seen in the pages of my books, then the ink has done its job.
In Small Moments
Writes best when slightly sleep deprived
Strong opinions on dishwasher loading
Thinks “I’m fine” is rarely the full story
A bit of me
Like most people, I’ve spent a lot of time juggling life, family, expectations, and everything that comes with that.
Writing is where I get to explore all the things we don’t always say out loud — with a bit of humour, because otherwise, honestly… you’d cry.
She’s Fine is the first of those stories.
And there are more coming, all exploring what happens when the women people underestimate turn out to be far more interesting than anyone expected.
She's Fine
If you enjoy character-led stories with a bit of bite, you’re in the right place.
Stay for the story
